Issue with online play

Having issue with the online play. It seems to be a lil choppy for me as I play against other people. I thought maybe it was my internet but I popped a couple of different games in and no lag on the internet whatsoever. Is anyone else having this issue in online mode and if so, is there a server side patch or whatnot?
