I need a Gamepad

Postby ShowMeTheMoney on Sun Oct 02, 2005 2:48 pm

..or a controller or whatever it's called. Then maybe, just maybe I can start enjoying this game.

I used to have a generic controller that I used for Live '05. But now its lying on a garbage dump somewhere. Aside from that I've never used any other pads or for any other games aside from Live '05 for that matter. So I don't know anything about these things.

What's a good basic controller that I can buy for less than $40? [b]Also[/]b one that I can use for other PC games? Like GTA: SA maybe? Basically anything good and cheap that's also compatible with a good number of PC games.

Thanks in Advance.

Buy the Logitech Dual action controller. It has all the standard buttons plus dual analog sticks. You can get it for around $25.00 in any CompUsa or BesTbuy stores.

Ooops. I see you are in the Phillipines...no idea where you should buy it there.

I've been looking at all the other threads and the Logitech Dual Action one is getting all kinds of bad reviews, so I dunno.

I was thinking of getting the Saitek P880. Or a PS2 controller, but I don't play consoles and I don't really know much about all these controllers. Heeh.

I'm currently in Canada so it's all good.

i have a logitech rumblepad 2 and it works wonders. unlike the old logitech pads, this one doesn't lose analog sticks calibration after a while.
