On PC it's the Off-ball button. And you can only do it in Practice, 1on1, Rookie game and the All-Star game; and not in Dynasty mode.

Nope. u can do self alley oop w/ a high flyer when ur wide open in exhibition games. i realized that when there are defenders on u and u try to do the self alley oop, the player just dunks (a freestyle superstyle dunk but i forgot what its called)or gets blocked/shot adjusted. The reason why it's easier to do in rookie games/all star weekend games is that every stat is raised up in those modes and secondly its the stars playing the game. thats why its easier to score and do fancy dunks in those modes but harder to do in regular exhibition games. ofcourse, u cant do a self alley oop in an exhibition game when there are defenders on u. i normally get/do self alley oops on fast breaks when there are no defenders around.

and on the PS2, self alley oop is = hold L1 and then hold the triangle button when u are far from the basket (like in between the area of the free throw line and the 3pt line)

You can do it in dynasty mode as well, I do it all the time... you just have to be wide open byurself and on xbox press the "y" button from far and you'll do it....

you can do it with any highflyer, left trigger + press and hold triangle...

if you want to toss off the backboard, press the off-ball button but only works in 1 on 1, practice, rookies game and all-star games just like 2005.

and i found something weird, the highflyer doesn't hold on to the rim very often like we saw in those ad video. you need the correct angle in order to hang on the rim for a while, or else the dunker will just pull his hand back like being shocked by electric from the rim...
does that happen to anyone else...???
