Pick and roll - doesn't work...

Postby Raptorel on Sat Oct 01, 2005 12:05 am

Ok, I saw that the OFFENSIVE PLAYS are with a gray color and aren't modifiable... which means the pick and roll is at number 4.

So I got to the controller menu and put one button on my gamepad as the QUICK PLAY number 4.

Went to the game, and then I find it acts as NUMBER 2 which is isolation, and not pick and roll. I don't have 901238402398402389420384 buttons to put all the play and I can only have one play, which I want to be the PICK AND ROLL.

At first I just wanted to change in the menu of the game and put the pick and roll at number 2, but doesn't work (is disabled).

So... any ideeas of how can I make the pick and roll work?

PS. Remember this bug was in the NBA Live 2005 also when you edited a controller settings the new settings weren't saved even if you "saved" them. VERY ANNOYING.

Habakkuk's right. If you have an analog controller, use the down (at least with mine) D-pad to set a pick and roll.

Erm... how? I play on PC, and I have a gamepad with one analog controller (the D-Pad) and 8 buttons.

The D-Pad is used for moving on the court, so...

So you need a dual analog controller. Hate to say it, much you do. Not having total control over certain aspects of the game (ie. proper playcalling, freestyle etc) is just plain crap......... my opinion anyway.

cam's right. Most sports games pretty much require a dual analog controller, otherwise you're severely limited.
