transparent colour? Jersey numbers, street court fence etc..

In fshx the transparent colour is blue, yet when I edit one of these textures, it doesn't work in game (even when using the same blue as transparent).

Is it possible to edit these textures, am I doing something wrong?

blue is not the transparent color...it just happens to be the color of the program...if u want something transparent, u need to save the file as a .png (using a transparent BG in photoshop or some photo-editing software) and then import that file into the texture...

ps: you'll have to type the file name into the import prompt, b/c FshX doesnt recognize .png files...

The files are jersey numbers, which are transparent for everything around the number and the street court fence which is transparant between the metal wiring etc.
