7.7 sounds like a reasonable score..... I trust Game Spot more than IGN. There weren't that many big changes for Live anyway, so I was expecting a 7 point something.

"While NBA Live 06 does its best to put a new face on its game with the new superstar abilities and tweaks to its franchise mode, the series as a whole still feels stuck in neutral, like LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers. And both are still waiting to get to the next level."

This reviewer obviously doesn't have a clue what he is talking about...
Don't trust this reviwer, he obviously has never seen a NBA basketball game!
What a retard, I'm so angry now, he's stupid opinion is gonna affect hundreds of people saying that this game sucks (well, not in this forum, but people who believe stupid reviewers like him)...

That's the same guy who always give a low score to live series while always giving a high score on 2K. He's pretty consistent through the years

It got exactly the same scores for the X-Box and GameCube.......

Although they don't seem to have the pc review yet, so I still remain at least a tad optimistic.

I usually always go to gamespot for reviews, in general I trust their scores and agree with them quite a bit. I think this score is a bit harsh.

I can't imagine the ps2 or xbox version being much different to pc. I have always owned live on xbox and pc for aslong as I can remember but I don't have the xbox version now to compare.

Don't know about this year, but last year they were right on the money with a 8.0 score for the Xbox, so i pretty much trust Gamespot here.

This cracked me up because you'd be stupid not to notice the flaws in the game.

There weren't any major improvements to the game, and I still don't believe that freestyle superstars is the type of addition that can push the game to the next level.

A 7 is a pretty good rating, but like the game reviewer said, the game just hasn't taken that extra step to making the game extremely better or realistic.

Exactly, the reviewer bascically knows what the long time Live players realized... that since the year 2000, every new edition was another layer of icing on the cake, but the cake was never really that good in the first place.

BTW...
A single player can simultaneously be a stopper and one of the first five, but he or she can't be two different types of superstars at once. If your chosen star has the requisite ability, you can change his default superstar designation, though. So a player like Kobe can be switched from scorer to high flyer if you like.

Unless they added Lisa Leslie...
