X's Live '06 Dynasty - Knicks (Discussion Closed)

Postby The X on Tue Sep 20, 2005 11:14 pm

Hey guys, this question is mostly out to my regular dynasty viewers....who would you like to see me take control of with Live '06?!?

will it be the Bobcats once again?!? or maybe Andrew Bogut and the Bucks?!? probably not, but I'm open to suggestions....in the end I will make the decision that is right for me, just want to hear a few suggestions, that's all....

It'll be great to see you taking control of Sean May and Raymond Felton along with Meka (Y) (Y)
Dear Old World, you represent everything that's wrong...

I saw the rejuvinated Hawks, Johnson, Smith, Williams, Harrington and Stoudemire (Y)

Or a team that not many people would do, like Cleveland, tonnes of people do them, incl me!

yep....I would have thought of Clips, but Devin has got that well and truly covered  Jazz is always on the cards....I'll have to take a look at game and rosters and cap space and so on and work from there....I like to get it right the first time and never have to re-start a dynasty....once it starts, it will last a whole year :P

With that said, Im inclined to change my decision from Atlanta to Charlotte but with Atlanta as a backup...Charlotte has a nice team and plenty of cap to sign Sprewell :P

it's not all about plenty of cap space mate....I might want to take a team with negative cap space and a lot of dead weight instead

Um well, me personally for myself, im considering doing either a Portland (Zach and Seb), Milwaukee (bogut, Kukoc), Utah (Kirilenko), Atlanta (swingmen) or a new york one, (nate the great + other cool dudes).

But for you X, Bobcats or the Wizards  , maybe even denver

Seems you're becoming a bit of a Bobcats fan, so I'll go with the obvious choice. (Y) But perhaps, like me, you'll end up doing a couple of mostly-simmed Dynasties on the side.

I vote for Bobcats, you should stick to the team and maybe you'll eventually become a fan of the real Bobcats too, so you're other problem of picking a team is fixed too...

Your 05 dynasty was stellar. It lasted on and on so long.
For the new live you should do portland. Take a look at their superstar - Theo Ratliff? Ugh.

But that young core... Randolph, Telfair, Miles, Outlaw, Ha, Webster, Jack, Khrypha, even Przybilla and Dixon.... lots of potential "superstars" for the future...

Bobcats for you, but other suggestions:

Raptors (I'm biased), Indiana (solid foundation of young and experienced players), and Boston (lots of young guys, pretty good team)
if you were killed tomorrow, i WOULDNT GO 2 UR FUNERAL CUZ ID B N JAIL 4 KILLIN THE MOTHA FUCKER THAT KILLED U!

X, I think you should do the Celtics. No one ever does them, they have alot of young talent and they would be fun with Pierce, Green, Davis etc.. Your choice though

(Y) You have a young core (Iggy, Sam, Korver), the established Superstar & the old guy trying to prove everybody wrong.

Or the Bobcats :P

I havent read the whole thread... Sorry X.. but if i repeat anyones opinion... sorry!

Anwyays, I will be quick. Choose the Bobcats:

Why?

1) You did them last time
2) You're looking for a team to support? Go for the Bobcats and its more orginal than jumping the Bogut Bandwagon... like a lot of Aussies are gonna do if he makes a splash in the NBA...
3) Watever you choose, I will still support your cyber team! (Y)

Thanks for your kind words X. Dynasties like yours and cocobee is the standard in quality that I want to apply to mine.

Back to the topic, I vote for Celtics.

Celtics have an awesome crop of young players and I would be interested in seeing how you develop their team.

sorry Drex, I probably wouldn't do the Sixers  I'm sure Sensation or someone will cover them well....

thanks to the rest of you guys for the comments....there seems to be quite an overwhelming response to keep with the Bobcats for sentimental reasons....so they're definitely a front runner with stars like Matt Carroll and all

as for the other suggestions that sound alright....Blazers, Raptors, Celtics and Jazz....

will not start dynasty until Andrew's 1st roster update comes out, so will decide after I get a bit more accustomed to the game :P
