resume game after every quarter?

resume game after every quarter?

Postby Air Jordon on Sat Sep 17, 2005 6:21 pm

i really didnt like how we had to hit resume game after every quarter in a game. This was annoying for when you want to sim a game. Does anyone know if its the same? Or did they go back and make it where you can sim a game from first quarter to the end without having to press resume game?

Its always been like that in every sports title game.

Its so when you play a game, people can check teh stats and stuff i guess..

But i wouldn't mind being able to hit a button on teh controller to bypass teh screen.. instead of using the mouse.

as far as memory goes in Live 98 you could do that (hit a button and not use mouse) but i think after that it was gone.

it's not that much of a problem but if it was available it'd just make it more convenient.

im pretty sure there was a live game where you could sim a whole game without having to press a button between quarters. Ive been buying the pc version since live 2000 and been in leagues where we sim games.

Well, the game is designed for those who want to actually play the games and adding that screen between quarters is better when you're using the game that way.

Yeah, but then sometimes I would go somewhere, want to simulate a game while I was gone... and then come back to realize it had just played throught the first quarter and stopped, that could get annoying really fast.

thats the thing, its easier to start a game, go to the store and come back and its done. rather then sitting home hitting resume game every 15 minutes.

I agree with 7th, sometimes I just simmed games for the hell of it (usually to see whose team was better - mine or my brothers), but I'd do it from Exhibition mode, so I'd have to resume. I don't think it's that big a deal though, I can live without it. Maybe in future Lives they could have the option to turn it on or off.
