That is really weird...if that's the case you might be better just buying the U.S. version.

but they ould be different region codings: in the US its NTSC over here we have PAL

Exactly, only the PC version is global. No word on whether the PAL version will support online play, unfortunately.

although with an action replay disc you can run NTSC games on your PAL system (i think...at least you can with GameCube)
