I dont't know why but i'm still stuck on Lebron James winning the Rookie of the Year Award over Dwayne Wade 2 years ago. Wade took his team further than Lebron did in both of his 1st 2 years w/ the Heat. I still think he's underated and needs 2 get more recogniton. Wade i'm your #1 fan!!!

wrong section....should be in the NBA section...don't really like Bron that much but I think he deserved the ROY. You didn't even mention Melo who also had a great rookie outing

1st off my fault 4 being rude when it should go in the other section. 2nd you're 1st instinct wuz right i'm a gurl not anyone who wants attention ok. 3rd i think u might B getting a lil intimidated by me noing so much about basketball but its okay i understand dont B shamed. That's all well and good, but it doesn't change the fact that in their rookie season, LeBron and Melo were above Wade. This season is obviously different, LeBron and Wade are on a pretty even playing field and Melo's fallen behind but honestly the ROY award was always going to be between LeBron and Melo, and rightfully so.

Haha! This is great! Okafor did not lead his team into the play-off, but became rookie of the year. Maybe he had better stats then Gorden, but he did not led them into the playoff. Also that you are saying that Wade led the heat into the playoff 2 times is kinda wrong. What about Shaq? He was just chilling on the bench. Shaq was a mvp candidate.

ROY is pretty different than MVP. ROY is usually purely stat driven, MVP is usually given out with team success.
Hence why VC was easily ROY but never even in mentioned as a MVP, despite being right up there w/ Wade in scoring.

Anyhow, the guys made their point. Even though LeBron did not make the playoffs and the playoff factor does factor in the voting, LeBron's stats were way too good to ignore. Let's just put LeBron in the Heat. Heat would've been holding a championship trophy right now I think? Or maybe not, but the fact is LeBron is too good, plus his popularity also helped win it. Furthermore, Carmelo Anthony had better stats AND made the playoffs

Yes i'm bak. Sauru u did da right thing neva post again cuz u wuz another 1 who seemed type intimidated lil bra. But i'm chillin i no everything i said about D. Wade is right so we'll just have 2 prove this 2 all of u guys next season when we take it all the way. Hopefully the Magics or the Rockets step their "A" game up so i can boast about them 2. but right now i'm holding my boyz down from Miami ya heard about me! 100
