I can't get into the game

After I installed the game...
i started the game.... and it's a black screen....
then my computer will load a bit... then hung.......
I am using Voodoo 3000, will that create a problem?!?!
if it's, how can i solve it?!?!?

could be the voodoo 3000 is not good enough to run this game.? try updating your drivers. try lowering the resolution of your monitor to 640 x 480 see if that helps.

Try close all the startup program on your taskbar, ex realplayer, winamp.
It works for me

Call up EA. I had this problem with 2001, where it would go through the start page but it would unload and bring me back to the window page when I start a game. They will have a solution for you. :idea:

I've had similar problems like this with nearly all EA games. I would load the game, the EA splash screen would appear, then it would just hang there....

I finally narrowed the problem down to my CL Audigy sound card. I disabled my sound card from the BIOS and I'm just using the onboard sound from the mobo itself.

Since then, no problems loading any EA game. For those of you having similar problems, try starting the game without any sounds. If the game loads perfectly, you atleast know where the conflict lies.
