Teamratings problems.

Before I tweaked I change some team to set the overall rating higher and lower. I set the players in NJ Nets a bit higher so they got overall nr 6, and memphis was set to 12 (still to high, but I couldn't change much more).
But then when I tweaked the roster (Change and bunch of ratings) NJ Nets was overall 29 (!) and memphis 5.
How could this happend, why did it benefit memphis and disadvantage for NJ Nets?!
The I though I could be smart and change do some DBF editing by change the overall rating in "Teams.dbf", but it didn't have any effect.
