I need help of solving one problem. I recently deleted Michael Jordan from my roster (by changing his ISCREATED value to TRUE). Now when I see the menu screen and when Michael Jordan is supposed to come on there, it just shows a blank person with a ball. So I looked up MJ's PLAYERID from the original roster and gave it to Tim Duncan. I got interested in that idea so I took out some players I didn't like from the menu screen (I gave Bibby and Miles' PLAYERID numbers to the players I liked):
Michael Jordan to Tim Duncan
Mike Bibby to Rip Hamilton
Darius Miles to LeBron James
Then I replaced Bibby and Miles PLAYERID's of a random number such as 2001 or 2002.
Now everything works fine in the menu screen but the problem is that when I played an All-Star game, Tim Duncan was referred to as "Michael Jordan". I haven't tried out if it does it for the other players I replaced though (Rip being reffered to as Mike Bibby and LeBron as D-Miles).
I need to know how I can fix it, thanks.

set the player id's to what they should be
and I have no clue why you would want to switch player id's
What I have done to jordan is put him on the bulls through the dbf and set is historic to true
that way he shows up in the menu screen with his bulls' jersey...but he's not playable at all

There are some players I just don't like and I think are not "worthy" enough to be shown on the menu screen like Darius Miles for instance

But I really want to get rid of MJ in the game (except for the decade All-Star Jordan and the legend pool Jordan) since he is retired.
Andrew might be able to help me on this one.

Move him to the Retired team, change his ISHISTORIC value to True.

this had me wondering about changing the players that show up in the menu screen...but I obviously don't wanna touch the player id's
is there any way to do it?

Not without changing PLAYERIDs.
