Anyone Bought The Wingman Cordless

Postby sfield on Wed Nov 20, 2002 11:29 pm

Just wondering if anyone else has bought and used the Wingman cordless gamepad, because I bought it and used it for the demo version (seeing the game isn't coming out untill the 28th in Australia they say now) and to my astonishment, I was able to use the D-pad to move my player around the court and the right anolog stick to call the quick plays.

However for all those that want to use the D-pad as I have since 95.... I now must play with the right anolog for the player movement I can not play it with the D-pad no more, because it limits your manuverability.

Also I have watched this sight and read this sight since back in the 95 days, I have all the games and only now do i decide to become a member. So my name is Scott I'm 23 from Australia and just want to say Hi to all you guys, because I know who has been around and who has not so in essence I'm not really a rookie.

I got Cordless WIngman from Ebay for only $15 shipped. Anyway, i can use D-pad to move player around. It is a good choice of controller. I hope EA make live 03 force feedback, but they didn't!

i bought the wingman cordless for the demo, too. my story is the same as yours. i like the pad a lot. i'm using the dpad for the directions and the right analog stick to defend and the buttons to play offense, sometimes i use the right stick for both.
i am around since live 95, too. i love 2003. hope my copy will arrive here in germany over the course of next week.

I have the regular wingman rumblepad...

digital d-pad calls plays
left analog stick moves player
right analog stick does freestyle

Works awesome. I was wondering if you guys notice any lag with cordless version. I've thought of upgrading, but that worries me. Along those lines...do any of you have a cordless mouse as well (I do)...just wondering if you get any interference from another wireless device with the gamepad. Fill me in folks.

Thx
Steph
