Jersey Names

Now, b4 u guys bite my head off saying things like "do a search", "this questions been answered 100 times" etc.... i have done a search already, to no avail..... couldn't find the answer to how to do this
so... how can i edit the colour of the name on the back of the jersey?
and how can i change the colours of the numbers other thn using hue, without screwing things up?
hope someone can reply, most importantly, plz reply the jersey lettering question first, thnks in advance
