Does anyone know a way to record NBA Live on computer?!?

I've just gotten into making video cds and all that stuff since I got a new dvd player, and I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to record computer activity (NBA LIVE 2003) and save a .mpeg or .avi file

BTW- I've already tried using Microsoft Camcorder 97, but it unfortunately doesn't work on Windows XP
