Shoe textures look different from preview .. why?!?

Hi y'all again
Anyway, I'm wondering about something. Everytime I use a shoe texture, the preview here on NLSC looks great, but when it goes into the game it looks terrible! Why is this? I think I have all my graphics settings to max.. is there anything I should be watching out for? I have a Geforce 4 Ti4200. Do I have to set something with the mipmaps in Windows?
I usually make new fsh files using EA Graphics Editor. I mae a copy of any bsho.fsh file I have, then open that copy and use the import wizard to bring in the new jpg that I copied from the forums here.
Is this the correct way to do it??
I recently got Yohance's Ultraposite, in his preview picture, the shoe looks great.. but in my game, the sole looks terrible and the white swoosh on the bottom is crooked! argh
For real?..take a screenshot of it so i can see wussup. Mabe i need to fix up that shoe. The top of it might be too white ingame...i should mabe fix that.
Also, does that kinda stuff always happen with shoes...or did it only happen with mine?
I'd say the way you make fsh files is the problem. Try resizing high res shoes to 128x128 before you import them. Also...try using fshEd instead of Eagraph. You can download it in the EA graph section.
