HELP PLEASE ASAP

after installing and reinstalling i still have the same problem .... the small screen with jason kidd flashes on then the screen goes black for a while or will return to the desktop with nothing happening .. my computer is a Hewlett Packard and was bought in August and it is more then qualifed standards wise ... im using a via tech chip set .. ive seen someone fix theres who had a nieivia ... if anyone has had this prob or has any advice id appericate it .. thank u
