hi y'all, i'm new here :)
i really like all the great shoes here, but i'm kinda wondering how to use custom art with custom players cause that naming thing doesn't work with them. do i need a program or something to edit the dbf files?

also, is there a way to make a custom team?

thanks!

ps great ultraposites from yohance! they look great

Welcome rockshox. :D Glad to see new members

For the custom team, go to the patching issues forum and there is a stickied topic on the subject

For the created players, download a dbf editor (such as dbcommander or cdbf) open up the my documents:arrow:nba live 2003:arrow:saves:xxx(xxx being the save number of the roster or franchise with the created player that you have to save):arrow:players.dbf Scroll down to the very bottom and you will see the name of your player, scroll left and you will eventually see a 7 letter code (such as zzzbzeb) use that code for the xplayer folder eg. instead of rosmith for rob smith use that 7 letter code. Also if you plan on using facepatchs or skin patchs for that player you must check the facepatch box.

Another way, you can go to the same file, change the iscreated to false, the isgenerated (if on true, which is usually only for game created rookies) to false, and change the 7 letter code to rosmith for example. THIS METHOD REQUIRES A CYBERFACE

Hope this helped.

So what exactly do you have to name the picture of the shoes you have? I have the shoes.jpeg file, and I put it in my custom guys folder the first way you said, but what do you name it?

you have to open it in EAGE, re-size it to 128 by 128 if it's not already, then save it as an .fsh
