Player that refuse to re-sign

Is there anything to do to get players to not rufuse during the off season?

nope, which is kinda dumb i think

well in 2000 and 2001 anyways.. i won the title and stuff, and i think Sheed was my star guy, leading the league in almost everything. and he didn't wnat to sigh

I finished my season and Sheed, Bonzi and Pippen all refused to sign

whenever i played nba live 2001 and 2000, MJ would refuse to sign, so i would just trade for him. it sux i know but at least it gives me a challenge - having one or two less superstars than last season.

have you tried to increase the player's number of years in his contract? I tried to increase the number of years of a player who refused to sign from 1 year to 3 years and he then signed.

I think older players tend to do that.
I once had Duncan and after his 3 year contract expired he didn't resign, he just took off and signed with Golden State for the minimum. Webber did the same thing to me too.
