Never getting this game again

Postby bballer22 on Sat May 24, 2003 11:41 pm

nothing to say about the game, its not bad at all, its all very good,,, but dont u find it too long... i can wait until i can sigh a player of until my rookie progresses or until i get my draft pick, its all to long, even with 28 games,

players dont change dramaticly or it would have been unrealistic, its good for a game or so but no more....
the GM game is way of to be realstic i wont even start on that, but next time im looking to fast arcade game such as NBA street, for 60$ its not worth to starts a new season every 10 games or so??

It's been a problem with Franchise Mode since the beginning - sometimes you can get bored with your team very quickly, which means starting from scratch again and again.

If you want to progress through Franchise Mode quickly, you pretty much have to play 28 game seasons, and play around 5 games per day. You can get through the games more quickly if you choose to play with shorter quarters, which some people prefer due to the high scores anyway.

I really think that Franchise Mode is really intended to be simulated in part. In other words, a couple of meaningless games here and there can be simulated, just so you can get through the season more quickly. Otherwise, getting through a couple of seasons will take too long, let alone 25 years.

That said, I prefer to play every game, at least in the first year. You could always simulate most of the season, playing only important or must-win games, the All-Star game, and of course, the playoffs. You'd get through the season fairly quickly that way, too. (Y)

I never get through games fast enough, with getting pissed at the computer cheating to win and quiting, and simply not having time to play because of being a human and having a life, and all the homework that gets piled on me like a big pile of manure doesn't help either. I always get more frustrated when I've got a created player of me on the team, as I always expect myself to be able to make every shot, even though that would never happen in reality.

well thats the problem.... the only time i have ever played the playopffs was bak in nba99 when i got it first, never in 2001, 2000 or now in 2003....
i get board with the same moves that i do in nba live... i tryed pplaying with shit players yet i can just wait with the PG on the top of the key until the C gets inside and make the shot, the game is developed to the wrong direction...

its the same Xover even with free style.... same 25 long years... theplayer has 94 on FG and 3p and he scores 3 pts a game, even if i put him on for 35 min a game....

no new skill can ever be developed.... any special move u have ever done on it was only coz of bad graphics, that b/w the legs stuff.....

the way i see it is that u either make and NBA game really realistic, or fully arcade... this game is going no where....

realistic is impossible, coz then they have to spend toooo much money and it would cost us so much more...
from now one im only getting fully arcade with something like 3 on3 or something fast tonned of diff dunks and moves!!
