What's the target for Check for Update?

"To add the patch, exit the game and use the Windows Start Menu to navigate to the Start --> Programs --> EA SPORTS --> NBALive2003 --> Check for Update Link."

I can't find the "Check for Update" shortcut on my Start menu for NBA Live 2003. So I need someone to right-click the link for me and tell me what the target is (ex. C:\NBA Live 2003\link.exe or whatever) so I can access it. Thanks!

Is that the link on the Start menu? If you didn't understand me, I was asking for the link in the EA Sports Start menu directory, sorry (not the actual patch URL)

It's not the link from the Start Menu, but it's easier to update through the official site anyway. Most people have only been able to get to the patch through the official site.

y cant i do it? i cant see the difference in the game? i think i did this 20 times and i get 2 thumbs up???

If you've installed the patch correctly, and it sounds like you have, it should fix up the following problems:

Skipping quarters by pressing Escape
Low framerates when using USB devices in Windows 98

For some reason, the patch doesn't seem to work for all people, and most people using Microsoft Sidewinder pads still seem to have problems with the game.

awww...... they should fix the error... my cousin and i would really want to play this game together...
