Question about Black Faces

Hi!

First time posting a question, but a long time reader of these posts in trying to get more enjoyment out of NBA Live 2003.

I have seen lots of questions asked about updating rosters, courts, etc. (which those who do this do an AMAZING job on), but I still can't get these to work for me on my PC.

I am trying to use the TRU 2.0 update, which I have installed, thought I followed the instructions properly, but still have players created after 2005 or so with completed black / blank faces (Andrew Bynum, most of the starting 5 on the Celtics, etc.)

I have also not had any luck installing the Bobcats update. (Get an error message in a small window)

I have just recently edited the Customart 1 line in the xstartup.cfg file with Word Pad, but still get black / blank faces.

Now I realize I am by far no expert in the world of computing, but am able to follow instructions quite well. I think I have been following the instructions in the text files properly.

I enjoy playing the game with the 2002-03 rosters, but would like to take it up a notch by playing with current rosters, courts, coaches, etc.

Any help would be appreciated, and I apologize in advance for the stupid questions, as I know these have been all somewhat covered in the past.

download my mega update patch.....

everything is there....

except for the new jerseys released this year....

its just a copy paste method.

just copy all folders in the nba live 2003 main folder. and overwrite everything... it is guaranteed working.....

Hi cighvin3642!

Could you please post a link to your cut&paste fix again? I used a new roster update and I now have 6 players with black faces, although all of lineups are updated now. (Black faces for Derrick Rose, DJ Augustin, OJ Mayo, Kevin Love, Sun Yue and Brandon Rush)

Everything else is working splendidly! Any suggestions?

this link doesn't work..I have a bobcats problem too
