controller

Postby bordahoppa4life on Fri May 02, 2003 1:56 pm

I just got a PS2 controller for my PC and it works fine with LIVE. There is only one problem, i can't use the the D-Pad to move my guy, only the joystick. Does anyone else have this problem, or a solution to it? Also, anyone know how to do cool freestyle moves with the analog stick? all i can do is the crossover.

Thanks for the help.

Moved from Live 2003 Gripes. That section is for complaints about aspects of the game that people find annoying.

As far as I'm aware, if you're using the PS2 controller with the PC version, you cannot use the D-Pad to move. Some PC gamepads (such as the Thrustmaster) allow you to switch between the D-Pad and left stick for player movement, but with the PS2 controller you cannot.

This link might be useful. It's for the PS2, but Freestyle is the same for both PS2 and PC (and I assume the other platforms as well).
