desktop crash

Anyone know of any fixes as you go into games and it goes back to desktop?

Could be a problem with a patch you are using. Have you had this problem for a long time, or just recently?

Just recently, I had to reinstall because the customart bug started hittin me once i finally got rid of that i could play 1 on 1 but no 5 on 5

I had alot of custom art installed but i removed it all and it still crashed.

Does it crash whenever you try to play 5 on 5, or just in a franchise/season that you have saved?

Which roster patch? Have you had any problems with it before? Have you made any modifications to any of the roster patch files?

It's possible that something went wrong when you installed the patch...try playing with default rosters, see if that works. I know a lot of people use Zaxis' roster without problems, so there shouldn't be any problems with the DBF files themselves.

Zaxis' roster is the one you've already downloaded (Z's Current Roster Update).

If the default rosters work without problems but the roster patch does not, then the cause of the problem is the roster patch. As I said, a lot of people use that roster patch without problems, so perhaps something went wrong during the installation. It might be worth getting in touch with the author (Zaxis) and asking if anyone else has reported similar problems.
