Tweaked 97-98 roster

Yo, I asked for this before but it was some time before I heard anyting about it.

I would like to have a 97-98 roster based on Z`s old tweak roster.
It would be heaven to play with/against the bulls or see Kobe Bryant on the bench.

I now you (Andrew) is working with 2001/2002 rosters but they are less fun than a 97-98 roster

Right now I'm working on 2000/2001. Believe me, it's much easier to go backwards than forwards. I'll try to get backwards as fast as possible (I'm a Bulls fan, so 1996-1998 are some of my favourite seasons), but old season roster patches do take longer to make.

They will likely be untweaked, as I don't have anyone's permission to use their tweaks on old season rosters. You could always apply the tweaks yourself when you download the roster.

According to the tweaks, can't you use DK's as you do in your normal updated rosters?

indeed, with access, excel or some prog, you apply some tweaks to ratings(ie blocks*0.75) and they are calculated automatically. don't worry that ain't so hard to do :wink:

they are many free progs that enable you to do things like that

Nah, I dont like DKs tweaking, you cant do long shoots with that one.
I like to use Zs old one that I have modi a bit.

T-mac: 89 FG.
KG: 83 FG.
G Arenas: 78 FG
E Snow: 74 FG

Rebounding is like standars there 99 is the highest.
Blocking is like 50-65.
And some other shit I dont remember.

Its better than DKs anyway :cool:

That's the other problem with tweaked rosters, everyone has their own preference.

I could ask DK to give me permission to extend his tweaks to the old season rosters, but I'd rather provide the old season rosters with untweaked ratings. You can then tweak it as you prefer.

o the 97-98 roster it would be great if some good patchmakers could do some new cyberfaces, like Sprewell, Webber with shaved head.
I cant come up with anymore cyberfaces right now, but im sure that some more players need to be modi

No 1997/98 roster patch has been made yet. I'll try to make it ASAP, I'm still finishing the 2000/2001 roster at present.

I apologise for that, but believe me it's much easier to work backwards. There are a lot of players who were in the NBA around 95-2000 who played their final seasons during 2000/2001 and 1999/2000. Hence, once they are created, reverting the rosters to 98/99 and older will be much quicker.

As I suggested, if you could reduce the size so it's similar to Yohance's (300 x 225) it would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't have to be that size exactly, since the scaling will be different for your image.
