v1.07 released...

Postby Andrew on Sat Apr 19, 2003 3:37 pm

A few changes to a couple of players' overall ratings, some lineups corrected, final lineups for all non-playoff teams, correct playoff rosters for the 16 teams in the postseason. Additionally, I've updated the SEED values in teams.dbf, so the default playoff tree reflects this year's seedings. In other words, you can simply load the new rosters and start a new Playoff with this year's rosters and seedings, without making any changes.

I know some of you want me to address the situation with the tweaked rosters. I did reduce Quickness in this version's tweaked roster, but I can't promise satisfactory results. This release was basically an update for the playoffs and a correction of a few lineup errors in v1.06. As I've stated elsewhere, I'm not a fan of tweaked rosters because of the problems they cause in Franchise Mode, but since they are popular, I do provide a tweaked alternative. I'll see what I can do to improve that alternative in the future.

Andrew, when I loaded this roster, something is wrong with the teams. I have teams like: Boston, Magic, Knicks, T-Wolves and more named as Eastern All-Stars and Western All-Stars. Whats wrong? am I the only one who has this?

Sorry, but that's definitely not a problem with the patch. I haven't edited teams.dbf since v1.06, and there was no problems then. I certainly haven't done anything with the team names.
