2 Much Coast to Coast!

Postby Oz® on Sun Nov 17, 2002 8:56 am

[Sorry for my bad english...]
Hello everyone...
Can anyone provide a patch that resolve the best problems to this NBA Live version?
- every offensive play you miss (turnover or missed shot) is an easy shot for the opponents, which guard or playmaker or even small forward, while you're shoting, is ready over half court, running with a unbelieveble speed! I saw that there' s a speed patch, but i think that it can't resolve the problem which really consist in too much coast to coast!
Is possible to disable or unable rarelly (as reality or just as NBA Live 2001!) transiction by the opponents?
- like I read in a section in this forum, steals are gold in the game!! In 2001 version "my" Derrel Armstrong had about 10 spg...TOO MUCH!!...in this version "Flash" has only 0.5 spg!! and more of these are interceptions!
I think that if someone can go down "Possesion" stat in every player ad go up "Defense" or "Steal" in every player too, this problem can be resolved easy....but i'm not expert in editing NBA Live...
Please help me to play a great game with great "plays", that are rarelly slam dunks and often great offensive plays (fade away shots, midlle shots, pick and rolls...)
Thanks a lot!

I need one too.
You can't believe it, man. The CPU and I both scored more than 150pts every game, this is killing me, most of those points came from the transition, just like what you said

for the fastbreaks, get back on defense, or if you are, grab one of the roster patches, they might have a speed fix for ya

as for the steals, dont use the basic pass, use icon passing, it'll save ya on steals and much easier to start a pass around (also, no cross court passes/side court<>side court passes)

I don't think that fastbreaks are easy to contrast as you explain. It's really impossible to go back defense in transiction in this NBA Live...even because if you come back to defense it's too late to contrast the opponent or isn't possible to defend (block or steal)...
I also use the icon passing, but the real trouble aren't turnovers but steals by my players...
Even with speed patch i'm waiting for solutions for this troubles...
Anyone can trust my opinion and/or help me?

Hey,

i know the problem by fastbreak. Try to make a foul, sometimes this is the only chance the break the fastbreak

And play much games in the 1vs 1 mode for learning to play D.
