My Perfect Player is not so perfect...

i edited Kobe Bryant and gave him 99 in every category, including the 3 pt. category.
but he never breaks 50% for the 3 pt. territory! I take the shot only if i'm wide open, but he keeps missing the shots! do you know why is that?

If you are playing away games, the Lakers will have a disavantage.

if shot control is set to user, you have to time your release pretty much perfectly in order for long jumpers to go in.

it aso depends on the Dfenders hight, what i notice about all nba lives which would have been the best things to change is that u can put KG on the CPUs 6'1 PG and the CPU will not do anything about it. same as if u play SA VS Wolfs, in real NBA u have Duncan gurding KG, but here it SF vsSf and PF vs PF. so if ur D is also about 6'6 6'7 then its a lot harder to score!! plus u it might have to do with his scoring area or that he males 2 or 3 then he must miis to keep his % kinda real.

also i u dont shoot too many 3s in the start of 4th Quater u can make about 4-5 in a row in the last 2 min!

Even though the ratings seem "perfect", it doesn't mean that a player will hit every shot, grab every rebound, etc. As wangster also pointed out, if your shot control is set to User, the timing of your release is more crucial to the shot's success than the player ratings.

actualy i think ur over exedurating here.... sure u can have fg% up, i had VC at about 66 and he was 38ppg. but the cpu will not allow u to do the same thing too oftern. for eg.. i had VC drive up to bale line and ake a jump shot and would make it 98% of the time.. but after about 2 or 3 times of doing that i was then doubled teams or the CPU played harder d. i would then get about 5 TO trying to drive.
try to have with ur franchise... get ur worst player and keep him on the court the WHOLE time and get him like 50pts.

what u could do if u simulate, u can get rid of all the players and sign some1 shit and make him a star, get like SKip to my lue and make sure his the highest and the rest are like in 60s. then u get tonns of points fomr him and more points to sigh new players
