Changing button configuration on Thrustmaster Firestorm

I'm kinda new to this game, but was wondering if someone could help me out with this controller. I just got it and the buttons are totally different from my old gravis gamepad pro. Maybe one of you guys that has this controller could post on here how your controller is set up. It's really confusing to me. The pause button is located on the bottom wing and during play I always accidently pause the game. Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

Yes, the only use I've found for the bottom buttons is to goto the game menu. I'm not sure what all four top buttons use, but I use the two closest to me for backing up and turbo. You can re-configure your controller to however you like though. Look around the menu during a game, you should be able to find it.
