crash to desktop when i install certain roster patches

Sun Mar 23, 2003 2:41 pm

when i install the champs patch v1.0 and when i install the ncaa patch my game crashes to desktop when i am about to start the game.....

both patches seem to work cuz there is the currect roster/teams for either patch after i load them, but as soon as i pick 'play game' after clicking season or franchise then looking at my team etc it crashes..

any suggestions?

are these not supposed to work with season or franchise?

thanks

This is just a wild guess, but have you installed the graphics updates for the NCAA patch? I'm not sure, but there might be problems if you don't install all the custom art. The guys from the NCAA Live 2003 team would be able to tell you about that.

Just out of interest, are you using Windows XP? I believe the Champs roster uses a similar installation to my current roster, which doesn't always work for XP users.

Always good to hear. :) Strange that you have the problem with the Champs roster though, since they both use the same installation routine.
