Positioning of front jersey numbers

Mon Mar 10, 2003 5:29 am

Sorry if this has been answered already, I just could not find it.

How can I control the positioning of the front jersey numbers? I want to be able to place them in the upper right or upper left corner of the uniform, instead of on the players stomach. This would be closer to the FIBA style, number on one side and team logo on the other.

I know I can use the Houston Rockets front number, but that is a bit too low and only on one side.

controling the position of the jerseys number is in the jersy fsh to control the front its frnt and the back is back use fshtool to extract those files and mix and match anyway you want to

I'd like to know that too... 'cause i'm making the Atlanta Hawks late '90's jersey, where the number is in the right upper corner. I could use Houston Rockets "frnt" and "back", but they're in the upper left corner.

Yeah, i know, but to me, they're just black pictures in different sizes. I don't understand how that can change the position of the numbers... :?

The fsh file contains info on
x position
y position
centerx
centery

I wonder if you could mess with those values to change the positioning of letters? :?:

I am not sure that my method would actually work but you can give it a try.

1. use a hex editor
2. go the the position of the sub graphic within the fsh file
3. Starting at the beginning of that sub graphic data, go to byte number 13. Bytes 13 and 14 make up an integer. Enter the desired x coordinate there.
4.go to byte 15. bytes 15 and 16 make up an integer. Enter the desired y coordinate there.

You can try it an see if it works :!:

Now, if the image you are editing also has mipmaps, the number of mipmaps is packed into the upper four bits of the 15+16 integer.

Someday soon I'll have an editor that does all of this for you.
