no 4th quarter?

i was playing a game (chi - no) and the 3rd quarter just ended,I made some subs,clicked on resume game,and the game was finished !?

first i thought that I played the 4th and haven't even noticed ,but then I checked out the stats for the 4th and there was nothing..i mean just zeroes for everything (rebounds,shots,everything)

does anybody know what happened?

Have you downloaded the patch from EA? I think in the text file for the patch they mentioned something about a glitch that skipped quarters.

Did you use alt+tab and go back to windows, sometimes if you do that during an intermission it will skip a quarter.

nope...the 3rd quarter ended, i tried to resume and the game was over

nothing else

not the same(ps2) but the other day took boston to OT with denver and instead of playing the OT it went back to my home screen and went down as a loss.
robbed!!

The official patch lists the quarter skipping bug as one of the problems it fixes. Not sure about the overtime bug though.

y cant i download the patch from easports website?

A few people have reported that there's a problem with the automatic update. Unfortunately, that's the only way to get the patch.

Just to be sure, do you have ActiveX enabled? You will have to wait until you are prompted to install a component before you can properly download/install the patch. While the patch is installing, it will appear as if your browser is doing nothing - you will notice your PC will not respond quickly. This is normal. Once the patch is installed, you will see a notification icon with two thumbs up.

sometimes when you push escape in the end of third quarter screen the game finishes. So don´t push this key and it won´t happen
