will these banners not affect the banners for every arena or will they be replaced too? (like those air canada banner in toronto, adecco in portland, etc.)

unfortunately, all banners that have each area covered replace the team banner as well. there ia way around it by leaving the top one blank, but you have to make a greyscale (subfile) for it. for my banner set that i tried to make that way, it came out kinda tacky.

yeah, i'd figure that out. i've downloaded one of those from... i don't remember...and those team banners aren't showing up so i reverted back the original ones. anyway, i'm in the playoffs already so it will take me some time before i head back to regular season. good job though.
