The main difference between any console version of Live and the PC version is that with a PC, you will need a high performance PC to rival the graphics of the console version. The graphics are about equal if you have the technology.
Franchise is 25 years on the PC, 10 years on consoles.
The interface on the PC has the benefit of the mouse, which makes scrolling and selecting options a little easier. A small detail, but one that might make a difference whether you prefer PC or console gaming.
The PC version is easier to update, as there are plenty of excellent unofficial patches available. It's also much easier to make your own modifications to the game.
The PC version has no limit on created players. Additionally, you can use various utilities to edit those created players, something you cannot do with the console versions.
Larger storage space, more saved games/rosters etc. Save screenshots, that kind of thing.
Console versions of course are always going to work properly on your system (unless there's a fault with the software or hardware), without sacrificing detail levels etc.
If you don't care for roster updates and just want to play the game out of the box, the PC version's rosters are more up to date than the console's.
The PC version requires you to have a dual analog gamepad to fully utilise Freestyle control. Not an issue for the PS2 and Xbox.
Apart from that, there's not a whole lot of difference between the two versions, and it comes down to your preference for gaming - console or PC.
