I've been wondering about that too. The booming sound of the dunks is pretty cool, but it's quite unrealistic. Maybe there's some patch that replaces it. Does anyone know?

try that, it's 2005's sounds which are the best imo but I dont know if they will work in 2003. They work fine in 2004-08 though.

Make sure you backup...the folder is nba live 2003/audio/aems
Opinions are my own.

I agree that Live 2005 had the best sound effects. It's too bad it doesn't work with Live 2003 though. Tried it and had some error when loading a game. Oh well. Thanks anyway.

Does NBA Live 2001 for PC have that xcrtsfx audio file too? I wonder if that would work with Live 2003. Has anyone tried?

No, NBA Live 2001 doesn't use that file.

Is there some program kinda like DB commander that would be able to edit that kind of audio file? Just curious.

No. The only thing you can do is try the other versions' file.
