lebronjames can I ask how you decided on how much to turn down the stats?

I have been thinking about this, and then someone on here pointed to the NBA league averages.

I came up with these numbers, let me know what you think. Keep in mind that these are percentages to lower the stats...not whole numbers.

Points 0.839
Field Goals M 0.759
Field Goals A 0.808
Field Goal % 0.939
3 Point FG M 1.248
3 Point FG A 0.653
3 Point % 2.021
Free Throws M 1.249
Free Throws A 1.310
Free Throw % 0.960
Rebounds 1.235
Off. Rebounds 3.183
Def. Rebounds 0.990
Blocks 0.204
Steals 0.344
Assists 0.925
Turnovers 0.398
Fouls 1.339

Basically I was thinking, that if you multiplied the current stats by these numbers, then you should come out with stats in a game, that are much more realistic.

By the way, I came to these numbers after playing CPU vs CPU on Superstar level for 12 minutes. With two average ranked teams Toronto, and Washington.

I am not sure what stats go with some of these numbers of course...so I am not sure where to apply some of them. Any ideas?

I just experimented to see what would work this setup gave me the best stats... It is just on a whim no parabolas no calculus just playin...

how did you guys edit the ratings globally?

can you explain it where a monkey could understand?

i also agree that the ratings should be mulitplied cuz you can knock 15 pts of a 90, but if you knock 15 pts off a 65 the diff is huge!

Take him off the IR yourself. Go to Team Management, Reorder Rosters, Lakers and drag him over another player that you would rather have on the IR.

i tried but it dont work. there is a red cross next to shaqs name and when i try to drag him and alonzo mourning, it wont go. everyone else i can move manually but zo and shaq have a red cross next to their name and they are unmovable

Hi! Just did my own tweaked roster; ready to start a Franchise (O'Neal, Vince are healed and so on...) :

First things first: this roster is based on the one from Hoopscitylive; I hope
it's not a problem. I was just trying to do it for myself and since many people seem to share my desire to play more of a sim-game - here it is.
Made with MS Excel only.

What was changed:

fg base (not rating!) - 20
3pt - 20
dunks - 30
steals - 20
blocks - 30
jumping - 20
speed - 10
quickness - 10
off ability (awareness) - 20
def ability (awareness) - 10

All I did was to cut the numbers, some very minor ratings adjustions (like Kobe FG from 77 to 79 'cause Fish had 83 etc)
fg% is around 50, not that many 3s and so on. Check it out!
When playing - 7-9 mins quarters should be fine
(depends on your style of play).
When watching computer do battle - even real 12 is OK.

BTW, why did you reduce the defensive awareness? If anything, I'd expect an increase in this area, not the other way round. However, I would like to test it out for myselt. Thanks.
