Discussion about NBA Live 2003.

A few questions.

Hey, I have a few questions about NBA Live 2003 :-).

1. Is it better to use auto-subs, or sub my way, where I always use starters until 2nd quarter, then sub them out during the break, then sub back in my starters when they are rested, and so on.

2. How do I figure out what the schools are in schools.dbf (I know that this should go in the Patching Issues section, but I wanted to put all my questions together)?

3. Is it possible to walk up the court? I know in previous versions, you could hold Direct Pass, then walk up the court...

1. I've always found manual subs let you play the game as you want, using the players as you see fit. Only use auto subs if you just want to play the game, without worrying about the coaching side of things.

2. Basically, you need time and patience to go through and note which numbers correspond to which school. You would also need to have a reference that shows which college each player attended (but that would not be effective for colleges that are not assigned to a player currently in the database)

3. If you are playing with a dual analog controller, you can push the left stick (movement) slightly, to move slower.

I use the keyboard, so that doesn't help; guess I should get a dual analog gamepad :-).

So, I guess it's not possible to add new colleges, right?

As far as I know it isn't possible, as the names are not stored in schools.dbf.
