Insufficient Free Space

Sat Feb 01, 2003 11:20 pm

I don't know why I can't save any files in Live 2003 with the following message "Save Failed Insufficient Free Space". I haven't suffered this problem before, and I have at least 2.5GB free space in my harddisk...

What's happening? I still can save games/rosters yesterday! I didn't do anything between...

Thanks for help!

thank you, thank you for all your reply

1. I have deleted some files in the My Document folder, but it doesn't work...

2. I have re-installed the game in the same destination, but it doesn't work too...

3. Finally, I re-install it in another partition, and it works!

Anyway, why does it occur?

Thanks daChiller and ningtong88!

because EA is too lazy to fix all the problems in their buggy game..

but anyways..i did the same thing as you and installed in a diff partition..i just can't wait till it screws up on this partition too and then i'm screwed.

Well looks like I am the next tennant of the "Bug Motel" I went to save my game tonight, and BAM insufficient space. WTF is wrong w/ EA I am really fuckin tired of this shit, we fork out money on their bugged out games which WE have to tweak the graphics, to have a real life gaming experience, mind u!

I have tried all of your ideas except re-install, I really dont wanna put the game in another partition....damn this! Any suggestions will be helpful peeps.

I think it's because the patches that we got.

It's NOT because of the patches. I do not have any patches installed at all and i have have that problem aswell.

I've got 4HDs:

C: 1.84 GB free
D: 20.0 GB free
G: 21.7 GB free
H: 20.9 GB free

I think that should be enough to save a file..
I've delete all saved files, rebooted but still no luck, guess i have to re-install it *sigs*

I found that cleaning out Temporary Internet Files (From XP: Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup, and under the Disk Cleanup tab check Temporary Internet Files) did the trick. In my case, it got rid of 93MB. Why I needed 93MB back when I had 50GB still unused is a question for EA.

It runs kind of slow if you do it while NBA Live is still running, but it beats losing your latest changes.
