Game crashes with NBA2kSTUFF's MegaInstaller

I have NBA live 2003 and have tried many times to install the NBA2kSTUFF's MegaInstaller and NBA Historic Collection from NBA2Kstuff website.

For whatever reason, no matter how many times I follow the directions exactly, the game crashes after I load a roster (85-86 for example) and try to start a game.

I even got my brother to send his fully functioning game directories and overwrite all my files. Still the game crashes.

The customart is set to 1.

I know my laptop is more than sufficient to run the game since it runs the game normally as well as using the 2005-06 rosters.

Has anyone encountered this and perhaps have a solution?

Do you still have the megainstaller that was created by nba2kstuff? I also tried to download the files from that site and for some reason, none of those links work. If you have those files, would be so kind to e-mail them to me. I tried to contact nba2kstuff, but he didn't respond.
