need help with adding a headband

Okay, I made a cyberface for a created player and used the dbf. editor to change his created to false and added all of the o. and his fsh. face file to the xplayer folder. So the cyberface shows up in the game, but know I can't put a headband in the game without it crashing. I put the hbnd.fsh file in the folder and I can see the headband in the edit player screen, but when I try to play a game, it crashes. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance...if someone will reply. Too bad this forum is already dead.
