DirectX 9

Guys, i´ve downloaded directx 9 and the last detonator drivers for my geforce 4 4400 128ram and it really put up higher frame rats on NBa live 2003.

Give it a try!

REMEMBER: DOWNLOAD THE LAST DRIVERS FOR YOUR GRAPHICS CARD AND ISTALL THEM BEFORE YOU INSTALL DIRECTX9, OTHERWISE IT WON´T WORK PROPERLY!!!

Where did you download it from? :?
I went over to micrsoft.com and searched directx 9 but there was a million different versions and i have no idea which one is official.

Well, Scary Hedo has already put up the link. Remember to download the latest drivers for your graphics card FIRST!

I've only played once since, but DX9 appears to have fixed a lockup problem I had (well, DX9, or having the lastest drivers for my Radeon 8500, or both). When I would exit a game, whether part of the way through, or at the end, the machine would freeze. Most of the time, after random button mashing and keyboarding, it would come back to the main screen (as it should) but sometimes it wouldn't, forcing a hard reboot. The problem appears gone now, woohoo! :D
