Are you sure it aint just you?
hehe, joke, welp, i think you should keep him on the roster a little while longer, it's not his fault he didn't make any assits. and you told me on msn that he was fouled off...
If i could give you advice, it would be, keep armstrong for a good year...give him good minutes, then after offseason trade him for the top rookie...(hopefully will be PG) then you're set.

he shoots .355% i shoulda added that
and him fouling out is his fault, i usaully control the centre on D

Hmm....well 87 is a pretty delicous overall rating...you could probably get something decent for armstrong.
Thu Jan 16, 2003 3:38 am
you could try to trade him for a big man
(if your playing with orlando)

I would trade him simply because his rating is probably going to go down in a few years. Trade for someone new and able to improve.

Keep him.
He is a good floor general, well at least for me he is.
You ought to take control of him once in a while. Call a few isolation plays for him and then break his man down off the dribble
He is always good for at least 10-12 per game for me

If he isn't performing then use his rating to get a good young point.

How long is your season? If it's only a 28 or 56 game season, then I would recommend keeping him around until the trade deadline, evaluating his performance and consistency in the meantime, before making a decision whether to keep him or get another player for your run at the playoffs. You could do that even if you're playing 82 games, but that's a longer wait of course.
If he's proving to be a liability and you continue to give him good opportunities, then you might want to look at a trade earlier in the season, sometime in December or January perhaps.

I would definately trade him.
The same deal is with Rodney Rogers and the Nets.
He's an 85, and doesn't start. But... I guess you could start him in front of Jefferson, who's only an 82.

Hey Chris, try and go for Marbury...he is 87 overall and unstoppable in play...

will u trade experience for youth?
ill choose youth... and the player performance depends on the user.
trade him for a good center...
try Kwame Brown and Etan Thomas

im playin a full season to whoeva asked me that question
That would be me.

If you're playing a full season and you're not that far into it, I'd say deal him. Nick's idea sounds like a good plan.

Darrell just had a great game in my 116-106 win over kings!!
he had 19pnts 7\13 5\8 from downtown 5asts 17mins

That happens to me as well, a player who isn't performing has a great game or two as soon as I start considering trade possibilities. However, unless EA have implemented some kind of mind-reading feature that the players can react to, I'd say it's just coincidence.
