Jersey Crashes

Anyone that can help figure out why after i updated the jersey files with various updates all of a sudden my game crashes to desktop after the loadup.
Right b4 the player intros i get BOOM

I know this is what I came to post about, it just started and is really starting to piss me off.

the problem seems to have gone away since I switched to the custom art mode.

My customart is already set to 1
in the .cfg file
am i missing something else ?
Jowe advised i can replace the xteam.viv in the render folder with the one on the install.zip from the main CD
but i dont wanna do that if i dont have to

Narrowed it down to portland home jerseys...other ones seem to be doing fine now.

cant figure out what the heck is wrong with the portland home j's
i can use the alternate no prob...
i even replaced em with the cd originals from the xteam viv ... ??
