The stats in this game aren't realistic enough, the players look they're in a computer game and EA have ripped us off and the rebounding is rubbish and the stealing is rubbish and the sounds are rubbish and the game plays unrealistically and you can dunk on Shaq and block with Bogues and this doesn't play like the games on TV and..."

Every single year we have this bullshit. It seems there are maybe a half dozen trolls out there seemingly unable to accept that the fact that NBA Live doesn't meet their expectations doesn't mean it's all bad.

With a new release coming up, I can look forward to weeks of sad little twats trying to make themeselves appear the B'Ball MAN by trashing the game.

As is said, every damned year, yes there are problems. Yes, it's not 100% like a real game. Yes, he's got the wrong damned armband.

Is there no way that we can do something about the pre-teen trash talking that swamps the board? I'm quite happy for people to have their say but I get tired of the same bunch of muppets posting the same damned messages in every thread on this board.

It doesn't do the board any good, it's not constructive and it's just so bloody tedious.

good post--I think it's just hard for people to take the game and enjoy it--and it's only a game--I like realistic stats just as much as the next sports guy but I'm not going to trash the game especially when I know what the possiblities are for this game in the near future--I just wish people that don't like the game would just return it and shut the F up. Instead of crying because they can't get an offensive rebound, but last year there were too many offensive rebounds supposedly.

I have never been one to bitch and moan but the Live series is constantly a letdown.......Madden always seems to add something new with little cleanups throughout the game that make it better.

Lives interface is basically the same from Live 99. New feautures??? We got franchise mode 3 years ago and nothing has been added to that....things have been taken away though.

I wish that there was something more constructive to do than bitch and moan but there really isn't.......if we boycott the game they stop making it for PC.......if we call tech support and complain nothing gets accomplished either......we make wishlists ask for interviews and some insight on what goes on and we get little respect. The game makers remind me alot of proffesional atheletes.....they are trying to outdo there peers in the business but fail to reach to the fans(customers).

Take Tim's interview for instance.........that was publicist bullshit and Tim used to be a fan like us here posting his likes and dislikes about the game. Even with one of "us" inside we get nothing but PR crap from EA. 3DO was the last company that I have heard the producers of the game actually taking time to contact the game players.....to bad they don't have the cash behind them that EA does.

It is a letdown. The height of the franchise in terms of features and cleaniness to me is Live2000. The game has so many features, just the little ones and details in settings, during game etc that they took away from 2001 and on. I still like 2003 better however just do to the fluidity and graphics. It looks more like basketball than 2000.

the game is so damn anoying!

but it's a good game nevertheless after i mastered it and made a few tweaks here & there.

i love the new style of nba live, i didn't like the style of 2001/2002.

keep trying harder ea, can't have sega beating you out. can u believe nfl 2k3 has outdone madden 2003? come on ea, i hate seeing that new advertisment of nba 2k3; as if it's so invicble...
