Portland franchise

All-Star, 5 min quarters (scores get into 60s or so.. that's how i always play)

0-6 so far... im getting KILLED! i lose by like 15, 20, 25! i think i average 19 TOs per game, cuz of the steals.

i still average about 14 TPG, but all of those are cuz of MY mistake, not computer problems (well, about half anyways..)

however, im still getting KILLED. CPU shoots about 50% against me every game
i get good rebounds and stuff, but im still struggling to score on offense.. losing by 15-20 now.. oh and that 40 point loss 3 games back. lol

and as frustrating as it is, it's FUN cuz it's a challenge finally!!

i made 2 big trades:
traded Bonzi+Scottie for Finley+Avery Johnson. figured, in real life, this COULD happen. dallas trades a good Sg for one that's almost as good, but w/ more potential, and get a leader w/ playoff/finals experience.
i get a good SG and someone to ride the bench.. basically giving daniels, mccinis and patterson more PT.

the 2nd trade sent Charles Smith and Daniels to Chicago for Corrie Blount and Jay Williams. probably not quite realistic, but you never know.. they get a sg/pg who's really athletic, and a sg/sf who's also athletic. i get a rookie who still has to prove himself

i played 4 games after the first trdae.. finley's playing well for me, but im still not winning

just made the 2nd trade, we'll see how it goes

thats funny to me, you're practically doing the opposite of what I've done. I'm trying to cut down on point guards, you've got point gaurds all over the place.
I traded stoudamire for juwon howard right off the bat, because portland has enough shooting guards for their entire division. I also traded derek anderson for wesley person, just cuz i like person. I then traded pippen for ron artest, cuz...duh, pip's old.
its also funny to me that the reason the blazers can't seem to live up to the potential of the sum of their parts (egos) is nonexistant in the land of video games. this makes portland arguably the best team to take in franchise mode. I'm a solid two deep at every position (I make person a PG)

if your having offensive scoring troubles, try to avoid the lead guard if you already have damon. try to trade finley and sheed or somebody for a succesful scoring who can also pass ie. tmac, kobe, kg, vince, ect,.
