It looks like there will be no more patch for NBA 03. The recent patch only fix problems that are not the main problem of the game. I just don't get it with EA sports. When NBA 1999 out I was pleased to see they inputed franchise in the game. A year later 2000 out and the game is a better improvement of 99 game for visually and gameplay. But after that EA seems to put more emphasis on visual and drop the gameplay. I remember the wishlist for NBA 01 in this forum and when I played the game the only impovement is only the jump and rebounding moves other feature such as referee, in game save, were traken from the game. NBA 02 wasn't released for PC, and then this game out. How dissapointed to see this 2003 game. Free style is useless addition, the speed is crazy, every player in the NBA is Mutombo (jalen rose block 4x times????), ingame referee that seen only in cut scenes, one type stadium structure for every team, corny player introduction & cut scenes, shot % age of every player higher than 80%. My suggestion EA.. drop the license for a while watch and hear the costumer needs, critics, and suggestions. If this year you fail again to bring a better improvement of the game I suggest you to drop the license, and concentrate on other title that might need your "smart" and "clever" ideas.
