editing players.dbf on a franchise

Hi;

im new on NBA live 03; on the 2000 game i was able to edit the players.dbf at any time without problem.

But on this new game, i find that there are more than one copy of the file, so i tought that editing the players.dbf on the franchise's save folder will be enough, but no. In fact, after editing that file, the game frozes and i had to terminate it.

Can i modify the players.dbf on a franchise?
Wich file i should modify?

I have no problems editing the file with the NBA Live 2003 Toolkit

Grab DB commander and use that
you need to edit the currentdb and workingdb as well as the one in the save folder (i believe)
try that and see if it works for ya
