larger courts would probably fix that a little, players seem to cover too much ground dribbling or driving.

it's not a roster patch question... the fact is: it's too easy to get good shoots. At each possession, you can give the ball to the post, or dribble and go with an easy shoot... and when you'll have a roster patch who decrease the fg%, you will only have more frustration, cause you will always be able to get a good shot or an easy layup or a dunk, but you will miss them due to the reduced field goal percentages. What won't be realistic. So the problem is not that you score too much in this game, but that you're able to take too easy shoots.

i'd have to agree with what marco said too, player ratings don't seem to matter a great deal in getting and making easy shots, a few spin moves and maybe some freestyle stuff and mediocre players can get easy layups and make them.

i used DK's patch and i score of about 100-120

it does slows gameplay a little
it does reduce fgs % a little

but the problem is that still too much of points, and the AI (COM) stills shoot about 100%. Some superstars have lower ratings then cheap players and that is a problem.

For example

I played Franchise mode, and i played against the Kings. I see no Mike Bibby as the point guard but instead, i see Moochie Norris from Houston Rockets. So after, i went to the NBA News screen and saw the Kings trade Bibby to the Rockets and the Rockets gave the Kings Moochie Norris.

That is a one-sided trade, do you see now? Bibby rating is so low in DK's patch that he got trade for Moochie Norris. And Moochie Norris got a rating about the same as Bibby. This happens a lot around the League

Then it's time to move on a another NBA title. NBA 2k3 sports realistic scores, there are some glitches but a good title. It's more slow paced than Live.

Get a console. If you can afford it. It never hurts to have a console and a PC also.
