Blocked Shots...

Just wondering why almost every time I reject the ball, it goes flying into the stands, or back court and out of bounds. Its rare that the ball will just fall to the ground and I can pick it up. This is frustrating because i can get a good 20-30 blocks in a 5-minute quarter game, but its useless because I can't even get to the ball. Well, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It's a part of the game unfortunately, most of the blocks tend to be too powerful, even when blocking a shot with a player not known for vicious swats.

That explains a lot about blocking, and provides some solutions.

But the overall problem is hardcoded and cannot be fixed. It is a design error.
